Growing up in the eighties, I was hooked to music, listening to it night and day, and while I loved the electronic music – as it was called back in the day – I was really attached to the lyrics, and the meanings it was sharing with listeners.

My favorite band, till today, although they were disbanded long ago, is a German Duo who go with the name: Modern Talking. They were really big among my friends and mates, and you can hear their songs playing in cars and shops, in the street and friend gatherings. They were not that big a name outside Germany and some European countries, but those dudes really brightened my youth.


They have many great titles, but today I want to remind myself with this song in particular, Don’t Give Up. As I’ve been unemployed for over 5 months now, with now light at the end of any tunnel, and my blog visitors don’t click on those scattered catchy ads, and no one wants to click the damn donate button, so I believe I need to remember this song, and hope that it will brighten my day, like it did back when it first came out, and I know it will.
