Many studies have stated the obvious; taking a short nap helps the brain to remember and to learn more. Young adults who slept for 90 minutes after lunch raised their learning power. This nap primed their memory to absorb new facts, as reported by Roni Rabin in Science Times.
“You need to sleep before learning, to prepare your brain, like a dry sponge, to absorb new information,” Matthew P. Walker, assistant professor of psychology and neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley.
So if you were looking for inspiration, or for ways to clear your mind, have a nap, a relaxing and refreshing one. Works even better if you were unemployed!
