What does a freelancer do?

He/she earns extra money by acting as an expert in his/her field. If the freelancer is a writer, he is thought to be an authority on his field, because the ideas generated in his/her article / eBook will be read by thousands of people and acted upon by them.

Working from home is a business; you are marketing your skills to potential clients, and if those clients were to believe in you, you have to prove worthy of it. Finding a freelance job, working on it at your own pace and looking forward to the paycheck sounds easy enough.

However, it’s not as easy as it sounds. The internet is full of websites that may may look and feel genuine and claim to offer you a freelancing job, but before committing to anything, make sure they are genuine, google them for any unhappy subscribers, or you will get your hands burnt.
